This workshop is designed to deliver the basics of the hybrid visual-textual live programming software vvvv. Vvvv is developed to simplify the process of handling large media environments with physical interfaces, real-time motion graphics, audio and video that can interact with many users simultaneously. During this workshop, taught in English, learners will discover the basics of visual programming language and will gain hands on experience in creating simple patches of generative and interactive design in a real-time platform. The diverse application of the software program vvvv, make it a suitable environment for easy prototyping and development.
Florian Egermann is a media artist, musician and astronaut based in Cologne, Germany. He has been the instructor of vvvv at TADAEX for the past two years.
Amir Bastan is a new media artist, born in 1991 in Tehran. He completed his education in painting and has since been creating new media and video art. He has previously participated at TADAEX 04.
